Made from polypropylene and carbon fiber reinforcement, TAFNEX™ Compounds are plastic pellet materials available in multiple grades. These grades vary in fiber content, length, and the specific manufacturing process they are designed for. Learn more below.
With 20 % medium-length carbon fiber reinforcement, M2000A is an Injection Molding grade that offers ease of processing thanks to its low fiber content.
Containing 30 % medium-length carbon fibers, M3000E can be utilized in Injection Molding processes.
L4000A contains long carbon fibers, which significantly enhances the compound's mechanical performance. As the highest performing TAFNEX™ Compound grade, it is ideal for more demanding applications.
MCAM203A is specifically engineered for Fused Granular Fabrication (FGF). In addition to a low quantity of short carbon fibers, it includes special additives that prevent warping, even when printing large components.
