Material-driven innovations for UAVs

At the trade show, Mitsui Chemicals Europe will showcase a range of innovative drone components made from their TAFNEX™ thermoplastic carbon composite materials. These components demonstrate the unique benefits of TAFNEX™ over conventional materials, including enhanced recyclability, reduced weight, and streamlined assembly through integrated functionality. The showcase will include a monocoque drone frame crafted from a TAFNEX™ Structural Sheet, representing a conversion from an existing UAV platform originally composed of thermoset carbon and metal parts.
